Thank you for writing to us. A wedding in May sounds exciting! So let’s start with length, shall we? I think you could get away with a cocktail or knee-length dress for this evening wedding. We would suggest a long flowy dress; however, those are a little more expensive and you may have to spend extra to have it hemmed considering your height. You could also opt for a high-low dress which would give you the best of both worlds.

Now there are two ways you can approach color. If you appreciate a pop of color, we recommend sticking to jewel tones like deep blues or greens for evening wear. If you have a more minimalist taste in color then you can never go wrong with black.

As for the shoes, heels that have a little luster or sheen would work nicely with a solid jewel tone dress. Another option is a pair of strappy black heels.
